Anima — Privacy Policy

The short version

Anima does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

Data stored on your device

• HealthKit — Mindfulness minutes. With your permission, Anima writes mindfulness session data to Apple Health. This data is stored in HealthKit on your device and is never sent to us or any third party. You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings > Health > Data Access.
• Session history. Anima stores your breathing session records (date, duration, pattern, palette) locally on your device using SwiftData. This data is not synced, uploaded, or shared.
• Preferences. Your settings (breath pattern, palette, duration) are stored locally using UserDefaults. No account is required.

Data we do not collect

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising or ad identifiers
• No accounts, emails, or personal information
• No server-side data storage
• No third-party SDKs that collect data

In-app purchases

Anima offers a one-time premium purchase through Apple's StoreKit. The transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Third-party services

Anima does not use any third-party services, analytics platforms, crash reporters, or advertising networks.

Children's privacy

Anima does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require or request personal information from any user.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the date below. Since Anima collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
